Why Gender Equity Professional Development for all educators? While middle school might seem like the  beginning point of gender concerns, research has shown that infants are receiving gender messaging from birth and gender bias is firmly established in children by the age 6. We encourage all educators to engage in this professional development, and we are particularly hopeful that elementary educators will engage in this new learning.
